Location/Division Specific Information

This role falls under the Biochemistry Quality Control department at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Groningen.

Thermo Fisher Scientific's Groningen site is affiliated with Pharma Services. We seek a Data Reviewer for our QC department, in the role of Technician 4 (Lead Technician).

Support the release of test data for Drug Substance material and process intermediates.

You will mentor colleagues in developing their quality approach and integrity. You will lead by example in areas such as cGMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and integrity.

A day in the Life:Actively participate in daily team assignments.Perform review of documentation and data, ensuring standard operating procedures are followed.Exemplify professional behaviors as well as a quality culture mentality.Actively keep training performance up to date.Support improvement projects in the biochemistry department and assays.Keys to Success:

Education

BSc or equivalent experience, MSc or equivalent experience in (bio)chemical analyses.

ExperienceExperience within cGMP.Concentration determination, HPLC/UPLC chromatography, Capillary Electrophoresis, ELISA; experience with some or all techniques is preferred.Experience with data review and quality systems is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesExcellent interpersonal communication skills.Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and investigation skills.Capability to use diverse resources, respond quickly, understand the impact of changes and decisions, facilitate agreement, and build collaborative relationships.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based software.Ability to function in a dynamic work environment and balance multiple priorities simultaneously.Physical Requirements / Work Environment

The job is on-site and will require regularly working within the ML-1 Laboratory facilities of Thermo Fisher Groningen.
