Job Title: QC Inspector
Location: Mt Olive, NJ area
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $18- $20 per hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 8:30 AM- 5 PM M-F
Responsibilities:
The QC Inspector is responsible for performing routine Quality Control inspections and testing. This role ensures all products meet established quality standards before shipment or release. The QC Inspector will document test results, follow established procedures, and escalate any issues to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Quality Control
+ Perform QC inspections and functional testing
+ Complete QC checklists, rejection reports, and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
+ Ensure adherence to established QC procedures, standards, and work instructions.
+ Identify and communicate product nonconformities or issues to supervisors.
+ Maintain and update test logs, calibration records, and equipment logs.
+ Support corrective and preventative action investigations by providing accurate QC data.
Continuous Improvement:
+ Contribute ideas and feedback to improve QC processes, product quality, and workflow efficiency.
+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and cross-departmental problem-solving.
+ Take proactive ownership of workspace conditions and equipment readiness.
General Duties
+ Maintain a neat and orderly work area, following safety and cleanliness standards.
+ Assist in maintaining QC notebooks, developing and updating procedures and reference documents.
+ Collaborate with production, service, and engineering teams to resolve QC-related concerns.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Associate’s degree in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field preferred.
+ 1–2 years of experience in electronics, instrumentation, or quality inspection preferred.
+ Experience working in a regulated Quality Program or ISO environment is a plus.
+ Strong Excel skills — able to create formulas, pivot tables, and charts to support QC reporting and analysis.
+ Must to able to lift and manage instruments up to 40lbs
