QC Floor Tech - 2nd Shift
QC Floor Tech - 2nd Shift- This position is responsible for monitoring the processes and product quality on the production floor at the Beaverton facility, and initiate problem solving, corrective action, and containment for nonconformity.- This position is granted the authority to place on hold, accept or reject product on established criteria, and interrupt unsatisfactory processes. Promotes a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings. Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements. Interact with all departments, vendors and customers (internal and external) to assure quality processes and products. + Minimum High School Diploma or GED; required. + Knowledge in silicone processing; required + Thorough awareness of defects inherent to molding, extrusion, compounding, milling, post cure and assembly processes; preferred. + Awareness of ISO and GMP quality systems requirements; required. + Ability to work with people, be task oriented, and function without direct supervisor; required. + Capable of measuring product characteristics, and reading blueprints; required.
