QC Chemistry Analyst

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven, go-getter team member to support QC testing using HPLC, UV-Vis, NMR, and colorimetric assays. This role includes data analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation in a GMP environment. Daily Responsibilities include:  + Routine testing to support a Quality Control Analytical laboratory + Execute multiple analytical methods ,including UV-Spectrophotometry, HPLC, analytics, pH, dry weight, and NMR + Perform colorimetric tests, including anthrone and uronic acid + Execute test methods, tabulate data, and provide data interpretation + Troubleshooting in support of investigative testing may be required + Technical writing in support of SOP revisions/audit trail may be required + Assist in revision of test methods, LIMS builds, and creation of training materials as necessary Basic Qualifications: + A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience + 0–2 years of experience doing analytical chemistry work in a pharma lab + Familiar with GMP requirements for QC labs + Comfortable using LIMS Preferred Qualifications: + 1–2 years of GMP testing experience + Some exposure to techniques like UV-Vis, HPLC, or NMR + Experience handling concentrated acids safely with the right PPE and environmental protocols You’ll Fit Right In If You: + Enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment + Have solid scientific, computer, and organizational skills + Communicate clearly and pay close attention to detail + Are self-driven, adaptable, and bring a positive, can-do attitude What to Expect in the Hiring Process:  + 10-15 Minute Phone Interview with Region Recruiter + 45-60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or Group Leader + 60 Minute Site Visit to Meet the Team  Additional Details:  The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Andover, MA, are encouraged to apply.   Excellent full-time benefits include: + comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options + Life and disability insurance + 401(k) with company match + Paid vacation and holiday + Yearly goal-based bonus & eligibility for merit-based increases Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Professional Scientific Services® (PSS) is a global, award-winning insourcing solution that places our people at our clients’ sites, dedicated to running and managing laboratory services while eliminating headcount, co-employment, and project-management worries.
