If you’ve already graduated from the Chemical Technology AAS program or a comparable academic program, you’ll jump right into the hands-on experience. If you haven’t graduated—or haven’t yet started—a comparable academic program, you’ll begin or continue the Chemical Technology AAS program at Cincinnati State while gaining real-world experience on-site. And don’t sweat the small stuff: BASF will cover the full cost of your education, including books! **When you’re not studying you will have opportunities to…** + Conduct hands-on laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process, and final products, ensuring quality release based on specifications. + Investigate non-conforming products, apply corrective actions, and utilize root cause analysis tools for problem-solving and decision-making. + Maintain and troubleshoot analytical lab equipment, perform routine calibrations and validations, and support operators with technical issues. + Manage data systems such as SAP and Documentum for reporting, certificate generation, and procedure documentation, while ensuring compliance with lab standards. + Participate in EHS initiatives, uphold safety and environmental protocols, and serve as an Emergency Responder with required training. + Support ISO and Responsible Care Management Systems, contribute to continuous improvement, and ensure proper documentation and shift handover practices. **If you...** + Hold a HS Diploma or GED. + Can work in a plant environment with the ability to: + change Gas Cylinders + pull Lab cart filled with 1-gallon cans of solvents approx. 75 yards + help dump 55-gallon waste container + walk up and down four flights of stairs + stand extended amounts of time. + Are able to work Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts; occasional weekends. + Have completed, are willing to continue, or enroll in a Chemical Technology AAS program at Cincinnati State to launch a career in Manufacturing. **Create your own chemistry with you@BASF** At BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
