Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

The QC Environmental monitoring scientist will be responsible for executing microbial environmental monitoring and testing. This will require the successful candidate to have a strong background in GMP, quality control, good documentation practices and a proven track record of high quality, right first time test execution.

Position Requirements:

Expertise with methods and techniques for analysis of cell therapy cleanrooms for environmental monitoring.Responsible for routine QC lab tasks such as maintenance of equipment and the laboratory as assigned, writing or revising SOPs, and tending or reports.Read, understand, and follow SOP’s and comply with cGMP’s.Apply critical thought to solving problems.Work on problems requiring an in-depth knowledge of scientific methods and techniques.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences, biology, microbiology, or related discipline.2+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech QC environment, with a focus on microbial testing.Prior experience in a Quality Control or GMP testing laboratory and knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements for cell based products, particularly CAR T-cells.Prior experience with environmental monitoring electronic documentation systems specifically MODAAbility to work collaboratively as part of a high performing team.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in a cross functional matrix environment.

Additional Information

Position is full-time Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rockland, MD are encouraged to apply.
