About the Role

Create reservations, quote fares and issue tickets as part of passenger handling at front office. Serve customers professionally through telephone or in person in order to achieve customer satisfaction, generates revenue and take all possible measures to avoid loss of revenue.


Responsibilities

Create reservations for passengers and handle customer requirement/requests professionally ensuring minimum complaints.Deal with direct as well as email enquiries from customers (Corporate/retail) regarding bookings/queries processing, communicating the status of the product along with the terms and conditions to the clients, in compliance with applicable travel policies.Upsell and offer other products such as Hotels, car hire, insurance, International License, airline packages and promote QR products to generate revenue. Sell the best available fare to passengers without compromising agency revenue.Keep up to date with current airline fares and general practices including worldwide immigration laws and anticipating customer needs.Issue tickets and EMDs quoting correct fare to reduce passenger complains and debit notes.Advise changes in booked flights of passengers or to cancel or to confirm reservation.Calculate and process ticket refunds through system in line with station Finance Department procedures.Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/emails, action telex messages for authoritiesIssuance of EMD, ensure queues, visa updates, medical transactions and tariff inquiries.Handle processing of all kinds of rebates/discounted tickets.Prepare and promptly report all sales including refunds and voids in the DSR in the proper format as laid down by finance.Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of Department.
