**QA/QC Inspector (Electrical)**
**Qatar**
Parsons is looking for an experienced and talented **QA/QC Inspector (Electrical)** to join our team in Qatar! In this role, you will ensure that all electrical installations and equipment meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. You will play a critical role in inspecting, monitoring, and documenting electrical works to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Conduct inspections to verify that electrical work complies with contract specifications, relevant standards, and regulations.
+ Perform inspection activities for electrical installations, including traffic signals, ramp metering, street lighting, Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
+ Maintain project-related office files, quantity calculations, and daily diaries.
+ Prepare daily reports and other documentation as required by the contract.
+ Verify that only approved materials are incorporated into the work.
+ Perform labor compliance interviews and maintain as-built plans.
+ Identify potential conflicts, issues, and problems, propose possible solutions, and advise the supervisor.
+ Collect, review, and file Certificates of Compliance, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), inspection tags, and other material-related documentation.
+ Report installed quantities to verify applications for payment and change order work.
+ Assist in the development of job safety practices and reports.
+ Support the creation of quality control procedures and reports.
+ Document nonconformance and participate in determining appropriate resolutions.
+ Provide technical guidance to lower-level inspectors as needed.
+ Perform work in a safe manner, ensuring public safety and adherence to safety protocols.
+ Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical construction, inspection, or a related field, preferably as an electrical inspector in a consultancy or engineering environment.
+ MMUP-certified Engineer is mandatory.
+ Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and familiarity with local and international electrical codes and standards, including Kahramaa standards and QCS specifications.
+ Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Knowledge of basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office, project management software, and internet search engines.
+ Effective diary and reporting skills with a thorough understanding of scheduling.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and engage with stakeholders.
+ Ability to understand and comply with project requirements based on client and industry standards.
+ Effective time management skills to proactively prepare for work assignments.
+ Ability to work cohesively in a team and dynamic work environment.
+ Ability to mentor and guide others in work duties and processes.
