**Description** ***Resume Required with Application to be considered*** **2nd Shift QA Tech I** - 2:30pm to End of Production (start time will vary/rotate - along with end time) - $52,000+/ yrly earnings potential **Description** **DUTIES/** **Responsibilities:** This position responsible for performing HACCP, SSOP and Quality Checks to insure that product meets plant, USDA and customer expectations. + Must have a basic understanding of microbiology, HACCP and SSOPs & GMPs + Knowledge of pre-operational sanitation checks + Perform various quality control functions including but not limited to inspection and audits. + Inspect various product to assure compliance with Company specifications + Other duties as assigned + Completing accurate and detailed paperwork on products + Communicating clearly with Superintendent, Lead and or Managers. + Other tasks/duties as assigned by Lead, Manager and or Other Management. **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Knowledge of meat industry. Previous job in industry is preferred (1yr +) Similar QA job in the past is preferred. + **Dependable** and enthusiastic + Must be a team player, have positive attitude, good people skills, ability to work well with others + Willing to be flexible, have time management skills and complete tasks in a timely manner. + Computer/ tablet skills + Excellent verbal and written skills + Strong attention to detail + Good math skills + Ability to follow instructions + Physically capable of performing line work + Excellent attendance and work record. + Self- starter + Multitasker + Bilingual preferred but not required + High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
