The team you will join is closely involved in all these areas.The Ticketmaster Sports International Engineering division comprises distributed software development teams working together in a highly collaborative environment. You will be joining our engineering team based in Athens, Greece.  THE JOBYou will be joining Sports-XT development team as a Senior Quality Engineer.At Sport-XT development team we support sports events, tournaments, shows and live performances, while connecting more passionate fans to these events. This team is responsible for the development and optimization of a complete ticketing web platform used in multiple countries around the world.There is a tremendous opportunity for you to make a difference. We are looking for Quality Assurance engineer who can help us drive our platform forward from a quality assurance point of view, as well as act as a mentor for more junior members of the team. You will be working very closely with the team lead to ensure the quality of our software and to assist in the planning and decision-making process.Apart from standard manual testing activities you will help improve our automated test suites, as well as be involved with performance testing. In essence, your job will be to ensure our software solutions are of the highest quality, robustness, and performance.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGDevelop, maintain, and execute manual testcases and automated test scripts for web and API-based applications.Design and architect modular and reusable testing solutions.Create comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test reports to ensure product quality.Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke and performance testing.Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA.Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of Agile team.Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress.Working collaboratively with a team of like-minded people to design and deliver software solutions in an agile environment.Review defects raised by business stakeholders and update for accuracy as necessary.Operating effectively within an organization with teams spread across the globe.Working effectively within a dynamic team environment to define and advocate for QA standards and best practices to ensure the highest level of quality.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, as needed.TECHNICAL SKILLSMust have:5+ years experience in software quality assurance with hands-on experience in manual testing.Hands-on experience in developing regression and functional test-plans, managing defects.Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile methodologies.Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman and Rest Assured.Be proficient working with relational databases such as MSSQL or other relational databases.An understanding of Web protocols and standards (e.g. HTTP, REST).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a Global team.Experience with test repository tools like TestRail.Familiarity with build tools (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins).Nice to have:Experience in one or more automation tools.
