Qa/qc Manager

Description

The QA/QC Manager will support a family-owned fabrication shop that produces various steel products for a range of industries. They will have experience on the shop floor and will also oversee all activities and requirements of a Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities and Required Skills:

- Manage QA/QC documentation and processes

- Complete hands-on quality control inspections and documentation

- Create and update weld procedures

- Weld inspection experience (CWI not required)

- Experience working within and managing a Quality Management System

- Manage flow and associated documentation for parts within different stages and processes (some outsourced)

- Utilize strong GD&T experience

- Manage a team of 4-6 inspectors

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills:

- Weld inspection experience (CWI not required)

- Experience writing welding procedures (highly preferred)

- Experienced in blueprint reading and layout, along with inspecting welds

- Hands-on experience various using various measuring tools including calipers, weld gauges, micrometers and completing associated documentation

- Understanding and experience of managing parts within different stages and processes

- Strong GD&T experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
