Construction QA/QC Instrument Engineer

KBR is looking for a QA/QC Instrument Engineer to carry out technical and supervisory responsibilities based on knowledge of international standards and codes related to mechanical works in accordance with the organization's standard.

Responsibilities Supervise and follow up instrumentation progress of works, installation, and commissioning of different units. Plan and control the inspection of all instrumentation works and related activities. Experience in testing and commissioning of instrumentation works. Monitor the final inspection of completed instrumentation works before handing over to the client. Review instrumentation shop drawings and vendor drawings for compliance with contract documents. Review instrumentation materials submittals for compliance with contract documents. Review instrumentation specifications and calculations for conformance with contract documents. Implement the SATORP instrumentation quality assurance plan. Review as-built drawings of instrumentation work, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures. Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions. Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work. Qualifications Bachelor's degree holder in engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 8 years' experience in oil and gas maintenance. Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance. Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills. Proven leadership skills with large organizations. Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems. Strategic management skills.
