QA/QC Inspector (Infrastructure)

Parsons is looking for an experienced and talented QA/QC Inspector (Infrastructure) to join our team! In this role, you will ensure that all construction activities for infrastructure and utilities projects meet the highest quality standards and comply with project specifications, industry regulations, and client requirements. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

Review plans and specifications to ensure proper construction and quality implementation at the job site.Conduct pre-inspections to verify that all installed materials conform to applicable drawings, specifications, and standards.Perform civil and structural inspections and tests, including soil compaction, moisture content, aggregate gradation, concrete slump, air entrainment, concrete compression, line and grade surveys, bolt torques, and concrete coring.Interpret design plans and specifications to verify that work performed aligns with contract documents.Produce activity reports to document and ensure that all quality control (QC) activities are fulfilled.Conduct surveillance of underground piping to ensure tightness, bedding, and grade compliance.Inspect and monitor piling installation to verify location and bearing capacity.Validate piping systems, including P&ID checks and hydraulic or other pressure tests.Provide general inspection of all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship and adherence to quality standards.Participate in the development of quality control reports and procedures as requested by the Construction QA/QC Manager.Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.Minimum of 7 years of demonstrable experience in the supervision of civil construction projects, with at least 3 years in infrastructure and utilities projects.Extensive knowledge of QA/QC management practices, processes, and current technology.Proven experience in directing and implementing quality management systems and standards specified by ISO, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, and similar organizations.Proficiency in the use of computers and software packages related to QA/QC activities.Thorough knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and standards.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and engage with stakeholders.
