To provide technical support to the refinery's maintenance and operational teams and ensure that all routine, preventive and turnaround maintenance activities are in line with SATORP's standards and reliability best practices.

Responsibilities:

Define, manage and review equipment maintenance strategies, develop maintenance procedures to support these strategies and provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for all equipment, as required. Participate in root cause analysis as part of the process for addressing bad actor lists, facilitate critical studies; provide coaching and mentoring to other engineers capable of facilitating RCA studies. Provide support in developing new software. Ensure developing and maintaining an effective action tracking system for root cause analysis findings and recommendations and reporting in case of discrepancies. Define spare part requirements for all refinery equipment, employing risk based maintenance and failure mode, effects, and criticality analysis techniques (FMECA). Perform regular audits to ensure working capital is optimized, stock levels are maintained and spares for obsolete equipment are removed in coordination with concerned personnel. Participate in total FORCE audits, Solomon surveys and other benchmarking exercises to ensure the SATORP reliability programs are focused on the important issues to improve overall refinery availability performance. Develop and follow up on incident tracking system for SATORP refinery. Manage and prioritize bad actors with updated action plan for refinery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 years' experience in technical field. Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs. Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM and TEMA codes. Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills. Proven leadership skills with large organizations. Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems. Strategic management skills. About the Company
