The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for providing engineering process support in accordance with documented procedures and practices. In this role you will be responsible for design, development, testing, design transfer and provide support for the technical development of a web application. You will Develop and maintain systems, rules, and processes to ensure fulfillment of internal and external requirements. You will ensure that projects and products are capable and will meet specified standards. You should have knowledge of best practices and aware of standard tools in the business. 

 

Responsibilities: 

At least 2 years experience as a QA EngineerGood knowledge of testing metricsExperience with creating reportsSolid understanding of SDLC processes and QA principlesAdvanced knowledge of the Fundamental Testing Process: planning and control, analysis and design, implementation and execution, evaluating exit criteria and reporting, test closure activitiesKnowledge of the Test Levels (Component Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Acceptance testing) and Test Types (Functional Testing, Non-Functional Testing)Special considerations for general types of testing tools: Test execution tools, Performance testing tools, Static analysis tools, Test management toolsAbility to find faults, ability to read specifications, ability to work efficientlyExperience in testing web and desktop applications

Ability to create and execute test scripts for automatic testingBasic programming skills (Java, C#, C/C++)Agile knowledge

Work Experience
