Quality Liaison
Selma, AL
The role will involve a range of responsibilities that are crucial for maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This individual will handle customer complaints related to quality and take necessary corrective actions. Identifying and reviewing quality issues and potential root-cause analysis and make recommendations for improvements to upper management.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Candidate must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the Lear Corp. Montgomery plant Candidate must be able to work complete weeks at Lear Corp. Montgomery plant, and Lear Corp. Selma plant as needed. Schedule may vary depending on product performance and customer needs. Candidate must be available to work on weekends on both plants as needed. Candidates must have high knowledge of foam quality – Global foam standard, inspection, repair, sorting, special / critical specifications, lab testing, dimensional testing, RMA and product audits. Basic knowledge of PS, RCA, CA, CP, 8D, PPAP and APQP preferred. Candidates must be able to respond in a professional way to customer questions regarding foam, defects, and quality on their production line & relay information to Selma. Candidate must have an impeccable conduct and work ethic; be able to discuss quality topics with the customer representing Selma. Basic understanding of office, to read and respond to emails, create excel reports and prepare PowerPoint presentations. Availability to make and receive phone calls and meetings from both customer and plant. Ability to take pictures or videos, for communication and documentation purposes.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma; Minimum of 3+ years of Automotive customer or quality liaison experience Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint. Ability to travel to training, conferences, and plant support as required
Bonus If You Have:
Foam or Polyurethane experience.
