Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced QA Lead to join a leading bank in downtown Toronto for a 12-month contract.
In this role, you will support the Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) group in the replacement and modernization of a critical risk management platform.
This platform manages counterparty credit risk within trading and derivatives activities. It underpins trading and derivatives activities, delivering exposure and XVA calculations, regulatory compliance, integrated workflows, and high-performance analytics.
As the QA Lead, you will own functional and integration testing for the newly developed in-house CCR platform. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including market risk, technology, front office, and project management, to ensure quality and readiness for production release.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and execute functional, integration, and regression testing for the new in-house CCR platform.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts to ensure quality and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with market risk, technology, front office, and project management teams to align on requirements and resolve issues.
- Validate risk calculations and exposure metrics (e.g., EE, PFE, CVA) within the platform for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Perform data integrity checks and troubleshoot defects across multiple environments.
- Drive defect management and reporting, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication to stakeholders.
- Support release readiness activities, including UAT coordination and production deployment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying gaps in testing processes and recommending enhancements.

Skills and Requirements
- 5-10+ years of QA and/or relevant experience.
- Experience leading a large QA initiative.
- Hands-on experience in testing and overseeing analysts conducting testing.
- Experience with Jira and/or other test management tools.
- CI/CD integration experience (i.e., performance testing tools like Apache and Blazemeter)
- Counterparty credit risk (CCR) knowledge (i.e., solid understand of risk measures and high level knowledge of models)
