The purpose of the Quality Assurance Lead role is to supervise all aspects of the technology quality assurance strategy from inception to execution. The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for the on-premise and SaaS products/software/platforms non-production environment refresh strategy as a subset of the broader quality assurance strategy. The Quality Assurance lead works closely with cross functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and programs, including large scale transformations, leading the process and teams responsible for testing new or enhanced features and functionalities for core systems.

Making an Impact
•Own the overall quality assurance process and strategy. Test strategies to be considered but not limited to methodical, analytical, reactive, performance, regression, and process or standard compliant strategies.
•Develop and implement testing strategies with coverage of the entire value stream and technology landscape.
•Lead, train, coach and develop a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support, ensuring high performance.
•Collaborate with and lead cross-functional and cross-brand teams to perform testing efforts and drive continuous improvement.
•Develop, document, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases. Consolidate a test library with repeatable and reusable test plans.
•Own the execution of manual and automated testing processes.
•Own the overall configuration and documentation for automated testing tools. Manage request for changes to the configuration of automated tests.
•Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in support of program, projects and business as usual (BAU) activities.
•Key member of the Delivery and Program Management Office (PMO), collaborate with technology solutions teams, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
•Review and Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on the quality of various products.
•Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies.
•Stay up-to-date with the latest QA tools, techniques, and trends.

Your Typical Day and Other Key Details
•Coordinate with project, program, and product stakeholders.
•Review/update automated testing technology configuration
•Review/update testing strategy documentation
•Review/update testing plans and results
•Review/recommend development changes to improve quality of solutions
•Review/sign off on programs and projects in support of change control policies
oReport on program and project testing metrics not limited to defect density, test coverage, total number of test cases, mean time to detect, defect severity, number of accepted bugs, number of actual test hours, test case effectiveness, automation velocity, test execution time, etc.
•Occasional Travel; Less than 10%
