Automation QA Engineer Location: Onsite in Mesa, Arizona

Overview
Seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong performance testing expertise to join our team in Mesa, AZ. This role requires hands-on skills in designing, executing, and maintaining functional and performance test suites for complex web-based applications in an Agile environment.

Must-Have Qualifications

5-7 years of QA experience for web-based applications.5+ years writing detailed test cases and test plans.5+ years working with QA tools such as Azure DevOps/TFS, Selenium WebDriver (C#), and SQL.3+ years of hands-on performance testing experience (UI and APIs) using JMeter.Strong knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL and relational database concepts.Proven experience working in Agile Scrum environments with iterative development and release management.Familiarity with version control and defect tracking systems.Ability to analyze defect metrics and clearly communicate findings.Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Preferred/Bonus Experience

Experience with additional performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, Gatling, BlazeMeter, k6, Locust, NeoLoad).Familiarity with browser performance tools such as Lighthouse or WebPageTest.Experience with API testing and automation frameworks beyond Selenium.Exposure to monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics in performance testing contexts.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze requirements to design detailed, effective test cases and procedures.Perform comprehensive testing, including functional, regression, system integration, end-to-end, UI, API, volume, and performance testing.Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.Investigate test failures, analyze results, and update scripts as needed.Clearly document test cases, defects, and results in tracking systems.Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and cross-functional teams to meet quality requirements.Participate in Agile ceremonies, design reviews, and user meetings.Ensure all releases meet defined quality standards.Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
