Looking to play a key role in delivering high-quality software applications? Join Spectrum as a QA Analyst, where you will develop and execute formal test plans, contribute to software process improvements and collaborate across teams to ensure robust project outcomes. Your expertise will help shape reliable systems that drive our business forward and enhance the customer experience.
This position is in an office environment with a hybrid work schedule. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each week.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to deliver high quality of Spectrum software applicationsDefine and monitor quality assurance metrics including defects, test results and test statusCollect and analyze data to identify process improvements that support Spectrum business needsDocument software issues and assist in their timely resolutionDeliver quality process training to technical staff and serve as an internal consultant for quality standardsConduct quality audits across IT functions to ensure adherence to Spectrum’s quality standards, procedures and methodologiesCollaborate effectively as a subject matter expert on project teams spanning multiple systems and environmentsWhat You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Education
Experience
3 to 5 years of system development, business or systems analysis, testing or business experienceSkills
Proficient written and verbal communication in EnglishStrong attention to deadlines and deliverablesSelf-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesExposure to test automation toolsAnalytical and problem-solving ability, including defect analysis and resolutionEffective working with cross-functional teams, including onshore and offshore resourcesProficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and OutlookProfessional, approachable demeanor with sound judgment and discretionStrong organizational skills and demonstrated critical thinkingSkilled at negotiating with stakeholders while maintaining a positive approachUnderstanding of quality assurance processes, tools and methodologiesFamiliarity with HP Test Suite or similar testing toolsUnderstanding of database schemas and querying toolsKnowledge of the software development life cyclePreferred Qualifications
Proficient in API testing using Postman or Soap UI Knowledge of Amdocs Billing systemEducation
