What You Will Do:
As a member of the Customer Engineering team for the Turbofan program – Business Aviation, you will be responsible of managing in-service product performance, the relationship with customers / airframe OEM & aligning service team to meet our specific program strategies. As part of a team of 16 experts, you will have the opportunity to lead an integrate product team (IPT) and influence the redesign of a part which could affect the safety, durability, reliability of a product or the cost of operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Customer Engineering activities for the Turbofan – Business Aviation programOwnership of Product Performance - including safety, reliability, durability and all services in relation to maintenance of the product in serviceComply with Airframe OEM, Operators and Airworthiness authorities’ obligationsAlign organizations with a vertical view of the market – Cross Value StreamProvide business forecasts & manage in-service product campaignsAccountable for engine operating cost optimizationDevelop strategies and ensure readiness of new program & customer entry into serviceLead customer relationship value streamCommercial and warranty programs managementSubject matter expert for the front-line team & provide product knowledge to field communities throughout conferences and customers dedicated technical reviewsSupport development of new business models and strategiesBuild engine work scope for engine in shopTravels as required to support the businessMiscellaneous other duties as assignedQualifications You Must Have:
Advanced Degree in Engineering and 5+ years’ experience in an Aerospace or Aftermarket Operations environment, OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 8+ years relevant experienceQualifications We Prefer:
10+ years progressive experience in Aerospace, Aftermarket Operations, or similar functional expertisePrior familiarity/experience with P&WC engine models, specifically the PW800 lineProficient business communications in EnglishDemonstrated ability to manage and drive customer satisfaction at all levels (internal and external)Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed organizationDemonstrated ability to manage product performance and delivery to drive customer satisfactionAbility to translate technical data into action plans and strategyExperience with Maintenance Program Development/MSG-3AME license a plus.What is my role type? The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
