Based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan Recruitment in Romania – Relocation Required Industry: PVC / Polymer Manufacturing Full-Time

 

 

About the Role

 

We are recruiting in Romania for an experienced PVC Process Engineer / Technologist willing to relocate to Uzbekistan.

You will join a large-scale PVC production plant and manage the full lifecycle of suspension PVC manufacturing, ensuring stable operations, high product quality, and continuous process improvement.

This is a senior, plant-based role in a continuous production environment.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Develop, implement, and optimize production processes for PVC grades SG-3 to SG-6 Adjust formulations to meet customer specifications Monitor and control polymerization, degassing, drying, classification, and packaging Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, and GOST standards Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions Control key parameters such as temperature, pressure, mixing speed, and reaction time Prepare technical documentation and production reports Support plant start-ups and modernization projects Collaborate with suppliers of raw materials and production equipment Train and support production teams

 

 

Requirements

 

 

Education

 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Technology, Petrochemistry, or Plastics Processing

 

 

Experience

 

5–7+ years in PVC production or polymer manufacturing Direct experience with suspension PVC production units Experience in process optimization and troubleshooting Exposure to plant start-ups is an advantage

 

 

Technical Knowledge

 

Strong understanding of:

 

PVC formulations and their impact on product properties Molecular weight, K-value, particle size, porosity, residual monomer Thermal stability, bulk density, plastisol properties Process control in continuous production environments

 

Experience with:

 

SCADA / DCS systems P&ID and process diagrams Mass balance calculations ISO, ASTM, GOST standards

 

Lean / Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
