What this job involves:

As a core part of our Global Leasing Advisory business, the Integrated Portfolio Solutions (IPS) team support the prospecting, business development, and market share growth of national and international occupier client relationships. Our purpose is to bring the best JLL has to offer to help create long-term client loyalty for some of the industry's most exciting and emerging clients.

To support this growth, we are looking for an experienced pursuits director who will be responsible for leading EMEA generated pursuits, represent EMEA in global opportunities and bring sales enablement operational excellence and best practices, including developing world class IPS knowledge management.

This EMEA wide role reports to the Head of UK Pursuits and Business Development to ensure consistency of best practice and access to a wider peer group, and the role will directly support the EMEA Head of IPS. We are looking for a creative thinker who can lead a spectrum of strategically important and/or complex multidisciplinary cross border bids.

This is a hands on, fast-paced and varied role, where you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of EMEA led regional and/or global pursuits, from early win strategy development and the creation of compelling client centric proposals and pitch presentations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Sales Process Optimisation: Monitor pursuit processes, performance, and client feedback to identify improvement opportunities and help create sales enablement strategies that support business goals

Knowledge Management: Lead the creation and continual improvement of the IPS bid library, sales collateral, and business line materials to optimise efficiency and effectiveness for proposals and prospect client interactions

Reporting & Analytics: Use and present sales pipeline data and insights to IPS leadership to professionalise our approach for prospects and pursuits and help inform business development strategies

Collaboration: Build a community with peers regionally and globally to enhance sales productivity and share best practices, particularly with US, UK, France, and Germany teams

Solution Development & JLL Positioning: Lead pursuit strategy workshops focusing on client analysis, competitor intelligence, solution development, and value proposition creation

Cross-functional Bid Support: Coordinate input from subject matter experts, providing them with guidance to ensure proposals are client-centric, benefit-led and differentiated

Prospecting and Bid Management: Support opportunity go-no-go analyses, have a solid understanding of our key products and services, lead the end-to-end bid management process, and provide pitch coaching. Oversee and deploy offshore resources for optimal results

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum 7 years’ experience in bid management and sales enablement support

Leading and managing cross service/country pursuits, whilst implementing the full bid process

Working collaboratively with and influencing a broad range of senior stakeholders

Utilising data and insights to track performance and advise on improvement strategies

Problem solving, identifying and understanding key client issues, developing innovative and compelling solutions

Persuasive writing, producing presentations and coaching for pitches/interviews

Working on multiple projects with competing deadlines

Experience of working in collaboration with designers to create client centric documents and presentations

Experience in commercial real estate advisory is preferred and considered an advantage

Flexible and initiative-taking with the ability to collaborate across cultures and work as part of a diverse team

A challenger with a high degree of energy, assertiveness, and creativity

A listener, willing to learn and who can communicate effectively and have strong influencing skills
