Job Description

Team Leadership & Operations

Lead and schedule team members in a client-based lab environmentTrain employees, conduct performance reviews, and manage training recordsInterview candidates and support succession planningFoster morale, collaboration, and a positive team cultureEnsure lab operations meet high standards for quality and efficiency

Scientific & Technical Work

Execute automated protein purifications using chromatographic techniques, TFF, and AKTA systemsCharacterize protein solutions using Agilent HPLC and SDS-PAGEPerform routine analytical measurements (pH, UV-Vis, HPLC)Prepare buffers and solutions; maintain inventories and lab equipmentClean and maintain AKTA systems (including CIP procedures)Document assay data and contribute to study reports

Compliance & Documentation

Maintain accurate records in electronic lab notebooksParticipate in investigations and ensure adherence to GLP and company policies

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related fieldMinimum 4 years of relevant industry lab experience
ORMaster’s degree in a related fieldMinimum 2 years of relevant industry lab experience

Technical Expertise

Hands-on experience with:Protein solutionsProtein chromatography and analytical characterization

Work Authorization

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
