Core Requirements: 3–5 years of people management experience leading buyer/planner teams (coaching, training, performance) Strong ERP experience in a manufacturing supply chain environment Proven ability to manage POs, work orders, inventory, and vendor escalations Preferred: Analytical mindset with KPI tracking and data-driven decision making Experience building SOPs and processes in evolving environments Leadership Profile: Accountable, proactive, and solution-oriented Collaborative team leader who develops others Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous, growth environment Brings a structure and process-building mindset Scope & Impact: Lead buyer/planner team and daily operations Own inventory health, KPI performance, and workflow execution Act as escalation point across production, sales, and finance Success Measures: Stabilize daily operations and team performance Build and implement SOPs and KPI cadences Help standardize and scale the function Why It’s Attractive: Opportunity to build and shape the function High visibility, cross-functional impact Flexible, collaborative, non-micromanaged environment Strong growth potential Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus. • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in procurement and planning within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in a demand-driven environment. • Experience in managing the procurement of raw materials, components, and managing stock and make orders. • Proficiency in ERP and planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar). • Strong understanding of inventory management, supply chain processes, and material handling in a production environment. Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines. • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
