How Will You Make an Impact?

As a Purchasing Supervisor at our Auburn Hills, MI facility, you will lead and develop materials professionals across purchasing, planning, inventory control, and configuration management. You will drive data accuracy, support organizational objectives, and provide leadership for cross‑functional projects that strengthen operational efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure that materials functions align with business goals and global logistics strategies.

On-site at our Auburn Hills, MI facility.

What Will You Do?Lead and administer the Materials Analysis teams for the site.Supervise and support analysts across Purchasing, Inventory Control, Planning, and Configuration Management as needed.Oversee and ensure accuracy in the data management process, driving consistency and compliance.Lead and participate in cross‑functional assignments and projects that support site and organizational goals.Collaborate with site management to develop and execute materials and organizational objectives.Perform other duties as assigned.How Will You Get Here?

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry practices.Ability to analyze logistics requirements, determine strategies, and implement plans that support business objectives.Strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to manage business analytics to optimize company footprint.Knowledge of international direct and indirect tax practices and global customs regulations.Demonstrated success in driving change management initiatives, productivity improvements, and cost‑reduction programs.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.Proficiency with personal computers, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and email systems.Advanced PC skills with knowledge of Jabil software packages preferred.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Logistics Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred but not required.3–5 years of related materials experience, or 6–8 years of supervisory experience.APICS or NAPM certification preferred but not required.Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
