Purchasing Specialist
Description We are seeking a proactive and adaptable individual to join our team in a hybrid role that combines purchasing support with general administrative duties. This position requires someone who can quickly learn new systems—particularly Viewpoint—and contribute to the efficient processing and tracking of purchase orders. Key Responsibilities: Learn and navigate the Viewpoint system to enter and track purchase orders Follow up with vendors via phone and email to ensure timely order fulfillment Assist with general administrative tasks as needed Collaborate with internal teams to support purchasing and office operations Skills computer savvy, Procurement, Supply chain, Purchase order, Erp system, Purchasing Top Skills Details computer savvy Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in purchasing or procurement is preferred Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor Comfortable making follow-up calls to vendors Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes Willingness to commute to Garden City starting November Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
