Job Description

Manage the portfolio of suppliers of the specific categories of the plant being Wheel Brake Solutions (WBS).

Analyze requests for price adjustments, promoting negotiations to ensure the best price for the company.

Look for opportunities for price reductions, aiming to meet the goals established in the budget.

Support the implementation of the modifications requested by the Engineering and Quality department.

Support the advanced purchasing team, carrying out negotiations during the sourcing process and naming suppliers of commodities and specific categories of the plant.

Develop new suppliers for specific plant commodities.

Prepare documentation for NSI (New Supplier Introduction) and follow up until the finalization of the action plan. Where applicable.

Follow VDA 6.3, when the NSI (New Supplier Introduction) is approved, ensuring the quality of the supply.

Participate in discussions of logistics and quality topics when scheduled for the commercial and seek solutions for the business.

Participate in alignment meetings with the global teams of the categories.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Administration 

Fluent English

Experience in the role

Negotiation Skills
