Job DescriptionThe Purchasing Specialist will play a key role in both the operational and analytical aspects of Eurofins' purchasing function in Türkiye. This role involves leading and supporting purchasing processes, ensuring efficient and accurate order management, while also contributing to cross-country benchmarking initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supplier performance. This role follows a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day purchasing activities including processing purchase requisitions, issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving invoice or order discrepancies.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (labs, finance, operations) to gather purchasing needs and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.Maintain purchasing data and supplier information within ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities in coordination with labs.Support cross-country benchmarking projects by collecting and harmonizing purchasing data from various labs across Türkiye (and occasionally internationally).Analyze pricing structures and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to uncover potential savings and harmonization opportunities.Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, service level, and lead times, and contribute to supplier performance improvement initiatives.Prepare regular reports and actionable insights for purchasing and category managers to support sourcing decisions.Ensure alignment with Eurofins procurement policies and compliance standards.QualificationsCandidate Profile
We are looking for a well-rounded Purchasing Specialist who combines strong analytical skills with hands-on purchasing experience and a solid understanding of procurement technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in the integration and operational use of Coupa procurement tools across Eurofins Türkiye and international teams, contributing directly to harmonization and cost optimization efforts.

Coupa experience is a strong advantage, especially in integration, data mapping, and operational use across multiple locations.Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.Experience with LIMS systems is a plus, though not mandatory.Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.5–7 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or financial analysis/benchmarking.Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver cross-country benchmarking projects and support strategic purchasing initiatives.Comfortable working with diverse stakeholder groups, both locally and internationally.
