Purchasing Planning Manager

**Job Description**
The Purchasing Planning manager is responsible for both managing the purchasing planners for Amphibious and Ground vehicles as well as for monitoring and validating the inflow of demand and configuration changes into the purchasing department.
+ Ensures timely release of requisitions by purchasing planners
+ Leads team in mitigating excess inventory through accurate planning
+ Reviews new contracts and BOMs prior to release into ASCP
+ Trains and develops Purchasing Planners
+ Responsible to drive improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the Purchasing Planning function
+ Supports NWT process to help control effective inflow of change into Procurement
+ Monitors procurement planning tasks and providing feedback on EPDM process that would impact purchasing planners
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
8 years of experience with purchasing planning
Familiarity with BAE processes and policies for procurement planning
Experience with continuous improvement / process design methods
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
Experience with BAE ECO change management process
Experience with demand and configuration management
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $105835 - $179920
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
