Purchasing Operations Associate
 

 

About the position:
 

The role of a Purchasing Operations Associate plays a key part in ensuring the efficient functioning of the PO department and maintaining its high standards. The main objective is to deliver high-quality service to the markets by processing a large volume of incoming tickets in a timely manner, resolving queries effectively, and ensuring high accuracy in line with established policies and procedures.
 

Main areas of responsibility:
 

Operations: Efficiently processed a high volume of incoming tickets in line with established company policies and procedures.

Issue Resolution Support: Responded to requisitioner inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring clear communication and effective issue resolution.

Data Accuracy & Maintenance: Maintained accurate and up-to-date procurement data across internal systems to support smooth daily operations.

Collaboration & Escalation: Collaborated with internal teams and escalated complex cases when necessary to ensure timely and effective resolution.

 

Requirements:
 

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Word)

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet challenging deadlines

Positive attitude towards routine and repetitive tasks

Fast learner with the ability to quickly absorb new information and processes

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to work

Experience with ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow, is a plus Fluency in English
