We are currently seeking a Purchasing Manager to bring our Anything but Standard ethos to life while ensuring the products, partnerships, and resources behind the scenes are as exceptional as the guest experience itself. **The Vibe** At The Standard, great experiences don't happen by accident. As Purchasing Manager, you'll be the connector between vision and execution, making sure our teams have exactly what they need, when they need it. You'll balance quality, creativity, value, and efficiency while helping shape the operational backbone of The Standard, Mexico City. **What You'll Do** + Lead all purchasing and procurement activities across hotel operations. + Source products, services, and suppliers that align with The Standard's quality, brand, and operational standards. + Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, pricing, and service agreements. + Monitor inventory levels and purchasing trends to ensure optimal stock and cost control. + Partner with department leaders to understand operational needs and forecast purchasing requirements. + Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality expectations. + Track purchasing budgets and identify opportunities for savings and operational efficiencies. + Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting. + Ensure compliance with company policies, purchasing procedures, and local regulations. + Continuously evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement. **Qualifications:** **What You Bring** + A solid foundation in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field. + 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations. + Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor relations. + Experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier partnerships. + Comfort working with purchasing systems, inventory platforms, and reporting tools. + Strong analytical skills with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset. + Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with ease. + Strong communication and relationship-building abilities. + A detail-oriented approach without losing sight of the bigger picture. + Previous experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury environments is a plus. + Fluency in Spanish and English.If you're someone who knows that the best guest experiences start long before guests arrive, we'd love to meet you. **Primary Location:** MX-DIF-Mexico City **Organization:** The Standard, Mexico City **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Administrative **Req ID:** MEX000849 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
