**Description:** The Purchasing Manager oversees all procurement activities for Park Hyatt St. Kitts, ensuring timely and cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services. This role requires strong expertise in purchasing, vendor management, and logistics, with a particular focus on shipping and supply chain coordination due to the unique challenges of operating on an island. **Responsibilities** + Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with hotel operations and budget goals + Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with local and international suppliers + Oversee logistics and shipping processes to ensure timely delivery of goods to the island + Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast demand + Ensure compliance with Hyatt standards, legal requirements, and sustainability practices + Prepare and analyze purchasing reports, budgets, and cost‑saving initiatives + Collaborate with Finance to manage purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments + Lead and train the purchasing team to maintain efficiency and accuracy **Qualifications:** **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field OR + 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics (hospitality preferred) + Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs, and logistics operations + Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills + Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite + Ability to work independently and adapt to the dynamic needs of a luxury hotel environment **Primary Location:** Caribbean Islands-Saint Kitts **Organization:** Park Hyatt St. Kitts **Pay Basis:** Yearly **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Procurement and Purchasing **Req ID:** SAI002017 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
