As Purchasing & Inventory Manager, you will manage the flow of materials and ensure timely deliveries to our customers. In this role your responsibilities will be: Leadership & Team Management Leadership and development of the purchasing team, including target agreements, performance reviews, and targeted skills development. Control and monitoring of all purchasing activities. Active management of supply bottlenecks through supplier coordination and escalation. Active collaboration to resolve cross-departmental issues. Purchasing & Inventory Management Compliance with purchasing guidelines, including ABCD analysis, date management, and processing times. Developing and controlling the annual inventory value plan; monthly RCCM analyses and implementation of corrective measures. Close coordination of material planning with S&OP and order planning to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize cancellation and air freight costs. Process Optimization & Automation Automation of purchasing processes, including digital tools for inventory monitoring, supplier communication, and process control. Initiation and implementation of projects to optimize procurement and inventory processes with a focus on efficiency, automation, and cost reduction. Continuous maintenance and optimization of Power BI dashboards for daily monitoring of relevant key figures and division development.Who You Are:

For this role you will need: Bachelor's degree or comparable qualification in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field; alternatively, technical or commercial training with relevant professional experience. Previous experience in managing materials planning or purchasing activities in a manufacturing company or technical environment. Experience in process optimization, lean management, and performance indicator analysis. Strong analytical and mathematical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making. Confident use of Microsoft Office (especially Power BI) and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, MRP). Professional and reliable communication with customers and suppliers. Business fluent written and spoken German and English. Preferred qualifications to set you apart: Previous experience in a matrix organization.
