Description We are looking for a skilled Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join our team in Midwest City, Oklahoma. This role is critical in managing procurement activities, overseeing inventory levels, and ensuring smooth collaboration with vendors and internal teams. Responsibilities:
• Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely acquisition of materials and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and prepare detailed reports to support efficient stock management.
• Manage vendor relationships, including negotiations and ensuring compliance with procurement standards.
• Process purchase orders and maintain accurate documentation for audit and tracking purposes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules.
• Utilize inventory management software to maintain accurate records and streamline operations.
• Ensure adherence to federal contracts and regulations in procurement processes.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and optimize stock levels.
• Work with Sage Timberline Software to manage purchasing and inventory-related tasks effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or inventory management, preferably in construction or related industries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, as well as inventory management software.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and make strategic purchasing decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with federal contracts and compliance standards.
