Rosewood Amsterdam is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. In this key role, you will support the procurement process from start to finish, managing vendor relationships, optimizing processes, and ensuring accurate and timely purchasing across departments.

 

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day purchasing activities, Process purchase orders and ensure accuracy in pricing and quantities. Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and discrepancies. Track shipments and monitor delivery schedules. Maintain Purchasing records, reports, and filing systems. Verify requisitions and confirm department requirements before processing. Support inventory management and restock activities. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and company standards. Assist Director of Purchasing in administrative tasks. Utilize procurement software, especially Birchstreet, to manage orders, approvals, and documentation. Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost-saving measures. Support purchasing team.

 

Qualifications & Skills

Strong computer skills (MS Excel, procurement platforms,) Experience with Birchstreet or similar purchasing platforms is highly preferred. Basic understanding of supply chain and inventory management Strong in communication Management experience Proactive on process improvement and efficiency. Attention to details and accuracy in data entry. Effective communication and vendor relationship skills Multi tasking abilities Problem solver and easy to adapt in challenging situations.
