Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Purchasing Coordinator who will play a vital role in assisting the purchasing manager with data entry, purchasing, and inventory management tasks. This position requires daily review of spreadsheets, determining necessary parts, reaching out to vendors for quotes, placing orders, and following up on purchase orders. You will also provide customer support and handle internal employee inquiries regarding purchase orders.

Responsibilities

Assist the purchasing manager with data entry and inventory management.Review spreadsheets daily to determine necessary parts.Communicate with vendors for quotes and pricing.Place and follow up on orders and purchase orders.Provide customer support related to purchase orders.Answer calls from internal employees and enter purchase orders into the system using DBS.Respond to emails and calls to and from vendors.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Experience with customer support and vendor communication.Familiarity with purchase order processes and inventory control.Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management.Minimum of 1 year experience in purchase order processing and working in an office environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
