Description We are looking for a skilled Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to procurement operations within the telecom services industry. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing purchasing activities, fostering vendor relationships, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Process purchase orders and closely monitor order statuses to ensure timely delivery and adherence to procurement timelines.
• Address vendor-related issues such as order discrepancies, delivery delays, and pricing concerns in a detail-oriented and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate supplier and product records by updating databases and ensuring data integrity.
• Collaborate with various internal departments to align procurement activities with organizational needs.
• Organize and document all purchasing transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Assist in evaluating vendor performance and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Support budgeting and purchasing processes to optimize resource allocation within the department.
• Utilize ERP systems and CRM tools to streamline purchasing operations and improve workflow.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and operations. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative roles is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and CRM tools to support procurement processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with vendors and internal teams.
• Problem-solving skills to address procurement challenges and find efficient solutions.
