Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Supplier & Material Strategy: Support the analysis of part family data to identify opportunities for consolidation and standardization. Help develop and implement strategic planning for eBike components, contributing to cost optimization and supply chain efficiency.

Support to Specialist Buyers: Assist in negotiations on quantities, prices, delivery terms, and cost structures. Prepare and analyze relevant market, sales, and structural data to enable fact-based decision-making.

Ramp-Up & Ramp-Down Management: Independently secure capacities with suppliers for new projects, demonstrating a deeper understanding of supplier capabilities and leading the coordination with suppliers to ensure readiness for increased demand.

Bottleneck Management: Monitor and communicate material shortages. Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to identify alternative sourcing options and expedite critical orders.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a reliable contact point for internal stakeholders, fostering strong collaboration and solution-oriented communication.

Digital Tools & Systems: Use and continuously improve our purchasing tools, including SAP and PILUM, to enhance data-driven operations.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Negotiation experience is a plus.

Strong analytical skills.

Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of German is an advantage.

Ability to manage international business relationships with international stakeholders and suppliers.

Proactive and organized approach to problem-solving.

Self-driven and able to cope with challenging situations.

Team player with strong communication skills.

Open to learning and contributing to a diverse, inclusive workplace.
