Job Description

▪ As the Purchasing associate gains more knowledge and becomes exposed to Purchasing areas ether Production Materials or NPM, his/her skills and compentencies can be identified/aligned accordingly into the Purchasing Organization. 
▪ Indirect/Direct Materials - building vendor relationships, sourcing and negotiating, drive for cost savings
▪ Procurement / SCM - analytical and decision maiking skills that impacts Production plans and/or Sales commitments to end-customer
▪ An Analyst is expected to provide resolutions on on issues from day-to-day ops and conduct data mining for RCAs to identify preventive and corrective actions
▪ Purchasing Buyers are given the authority to approve or reject shopping carts
▪ The additional responsibilities assigned gives exposure to analytical tasks support cost savings, and more interaction with business partners to build relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree - preferably  in Engineering, Business or Finance
Knowledgeable in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies is an advantage

At least 2-3 years experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics and/or P2P function

Work with Project teams on process improvements, development of KPI and other quality measures

Able to facilitate team meetings to share best practices, lead process improvement initiatives, actively participate/form part of GBS committees (such as events comm., Connect)

Work experience in local and international setting.
