Job Title: Purchasing Support Specialist
Job Description

Join our team as a Purchasing Support Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in handling clerical and administrative tasks within the purchasing department.

ResponsibilitiesPerform material take-offs for the building of modular units.Purchase materials for all projects.Schedule materials ahead of production requirements.Order shortages on a daily basis.Purchase standard materials for cycle counts.Maintain purchasing project files.Advise the Purchasing Manager of all price changes.Assist in inventory entry and price out inventory write-ins.Provide the Production Department and other departments with accurate information regarding special situations affecting material availability.Provide the Sales and Engineering Departments with technical information on special materials.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience with purchase orders and administrative support.Knowledge of purchasing or administrative duties from the construction industry is a must.Proficiency in ERP systems is a plus, specifically Sage.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in purchasing or administrative roles within the construction industry.Familiarity with purchase orders.Work Environment

Enjoy a laid-back and casual work environment, working side by side with another Purchasing Agent. The role involves some mobility around the facility. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, which can be adjusted to a 7:00 am to 3:30 pm shift. The dress code is business casual, with jeans allowed, but closed-toe shoes are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leola, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
