Job Title: Purchasing Agent
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our team. This role is open due to a backlog and increasing workload, offering the opportunity to significantly contribute to our purchasing operations.
Responsibilities
+ Manage purchasing activities including the creation and processing of Purchase Orders (POs).
+ Utilize Epicor and Excel extensively for daily tasks.
+ Handle manual entry for POs related to non-part numbers.
+ Support various departments including supplies, maintenance, and more.
+ Oversee Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and ensure accurate tracking.
+ Process Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) manually as needed.
+ Manage Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) and VMI Purchase Orders.
+ Collaborate with a small, dynamic team in a supportive and hardworking environment.
Essential Skills
+ 2-5 years of experience in purchasing and PO management.
+ Proficiency in Epicor (mandatory).
+ Strong Excel skills.
+ Familiarity with VMI and MRO processes.
+ Ability to support cross-functional departments.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Type & Location
This position based out of Stonington, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
