Job Description
As a Purchasing Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the buyers with various administrative tasks within the current system, Premier. The client is transitioning to Workday in April, and this position will involve ensuring a smooth transition. Your focus will be on checking statuses on purchase orders, updating systems, and following up with the internal team via phone or email. You will also be responsible for calling vendors for quotes and updates on expected deliveries, answering calls regarding pending items, and cleaning up the system.
Responsibilities
Support buyers with administrative tasks in Premier and transitioning to Workday.Check statuses on purchase orders and update systems.Follow up with the internal team via phone or email.Call vendors for quotes and updates on expected deliveries.Answer calls regarding pending items.Clean up and maintain the system.Essential Skills
Experience with purchase orders and data entry.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Familiarity with ERP systems, including Workday.Strong customer service experience.Effective email correspondence skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
