This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, extensive experience with press brands such as Minster, Komatsu, Bliss, and V&O, and the ability to work with hydraulic and pneumatic components. Candidates should be self-motivated, quality-focused, and capable of maintaining and repairing equipment to tight tolerances with minimal supervision. ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair mechanical stamping presses (V&O, Minster, Komatsu, Bliss)Maintain and repair clutch & brake systems, roll feeds, servo feeds, light curtains, tonnage monitors, and coil handling systemsPerform preventative maintenance and document service activities to ensure equipment reliabilitySupport die setups and work alongside tooling and production teams to reduce downtimeDiagnose issues in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical press systemsMaintain accurate service logs, adjustment records, and compliance documentationEnsure all press operations meet safety and ISO 9001:2015 quality standardsMaintain .001” accuracy and press alignment to ensure high-quality outputKeep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety practicesRespond quickly to maintenance needs with minimal supervision Qualifications and Requirements3+ years of direct experience maintaining and repairing mechanical punch pressesFamiliarity with metal stamping operations, progressive die tooling, and related systemsMust own a full set of mechanic tools suitable for press maintenanceSkilled in diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic press issuesAbility to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsBasic electrical troubleshooting is a plusHigh school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school preferredAble to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environmentStrong communication skills and ability to work as part of a proactive, team-based culture Benefits and Perks$30–$45/hr based on experience100% employer-paid health, dental & visionPTO and retirement plan optionsLong-term opportunity with advancement potential Your New OrganizationFounded in 1967, the company is a leader in precision metal stamping, custom tooling, and complex manufacturing solutions.
