Seeking an Assembler to perform mechanical assembly, inspection, and documentation of pump components and final products.
Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret bills of material (BOM) and blueprints
Experience with mechanical assembly and inspection of machined parts
Knowledge of mechanical seals, packing, and performance testing preferred
Attention to detail for documenting assembly records and maintaining organized work areas
Preferred Skills:
Background in pump or rotating equipment assembly
Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection methods
Experience improving assembly processes and productivity
Responsibilities:
Perform assembly work in a timely and error-free manner
Inspect machined parts before and during assembly to ensure quality standards
Conduct inspection of final assembled products for accuracy and quality
Document pump assemblies including serial numbers, BOM requirements, and assembly times
Tag pumps properly and maintain accurate assembly records
Maintain organized assembly areas and work-in-process flow
Report issues related to parts, quality, seals, performance tests, or assembly difficulty to supervisor
Identify and suggest improvements for assembly processes and efficiency
Perform administrative and clerical tasks related to assembly documentation and tracking
Pay Details: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour
