Pueblo Viejo - Senior Contracts Administrator
Senior Contract AdministratorBarrick is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to join the Contracts team at Barrick Pueblo Viejo. This role is responsible for the end-to-end administration, control, and oversight of construction, services, and supply contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, effective management of changes, variations, and claims, and the mitigation of commercial risks. The position works in alignment with corporate policies, internal controls, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards at PV.
 Key Responsibilities
 Administer contracts from award through final close-out, ensuring full compliance with agreed terms and conditions.Review, analyze, evaluate, and negotiate contractual variations (Change Orders), ROVs, Notices, and contractor claims (Contractor Claims).Apply and manage contracts under FIDIC standards (Red Book 1999, White Book 2017, and other applicable forms).Coordinate cross-functionally with Project Controls, Engineering, Construction, and Finance to support effective contract management and timely decision-making.Prepare formal analyses, reports, and recommendations for the approval of contractual changes, variations, and claims.Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date contractual records, ensuring full traceability of decisions.Actively participate in commercial negotiations and in the early resolution of contractual disputes, minimizing risk, cost, and schedule impacts.Support payment certifications, reconciliations, and contract close-out processes. Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Training and/or specialization in Contract Management.Bilingual: Spanish / English (advanced level).Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (intermediate to advanced); SAP and Power BI are desirable.Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration within mining, construction, or infrastructure projects.Proven experience with FIDIC contracts, change management, claims administration, cost control, and schedule management. 

Availability
Availability to work at Barrick Pueblo Viejo, Sánchez Ramírez, from Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Transportation to the mine site is provided, with established routes from various cities.
