Public Space Attendant

The Public Space Attendant position at Juniper Preserve will be knowledgeable about all public spaces including the Lodge, Clubhouse, Trailhead, Spa, Comfort Stations, Maintenance (Building D), and laundry. This position will be responsible for maintaining an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout all these facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Lodge:  General Cleaning of the Lobby of the hotel including glass doors, stairs, elevators. Empty trash and replace can liners. Dust and wet mopping floors. Dusting high and low. Complete any daily/weekly/monthly projects given by your supervisors/managers. Trailhead: General cleaning of entire Trailhead. Maintain towels throughout building as needed daily. Empty trash and replace can liners. Dust and wet mopping floors. Dusting high and low. Windows. Monitoring and reporting maintenance needs. Locker rooms and restrooms cleaned and stocked regularly throughout all shifts. Linens cleaned, organized and inventoried when required. Work independently, managing pace for workload. Review special events and assignments daily. Assist in cleaning units as needed. Complete any daily/weekly/monthly projects given by your supervisors/managers. Clubhouse: General cleaning of entire Clubhouse. Empty trashes and replace can liners. Dust and wet mopping Floors. Dusting high and low. Windows. Monitoring and reporting maintenance needs. Locker rooms and restrooms cleaned and stocked regularly throughout all shifts including towels. Linens cleaned, organized and inventoried when required. Complete any daily/weekly/monthly projects given by your supervisors/managers. Sales/Comfort Stations/Maintenance/All Guest facing Areas/ BOH: General cleaning of all other facility buildings including Maintenance building D, Comfort stations, Community Services, Sales. Dust and wet mopping Floors. Dusting high and low. Windows. Monitoring and reporting maintenance needs. Locker rooms and restrooms cleaned and stocked regularly throughout all shifts. Linens cleaned, organized and inventoried when required. Complete and daily/weekly/monthly projects given by your supervisors/managers. Guest/Member Contact: Maintain a respectful, friendly and helpful attitude when meeting or greeting any members or guests of members. Assist, when necessary, in arrivals / departures or other guests’ needs. Conceal all/any cellphone or electronic devices while in guest and member areas & out of guest view General: Able to read, write and follow directions Able to take direction from your peers as well as supervisors & managers. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, bend, stretch and climb stairs. Exhibit good reasoning, problem solving, public relations and employee relations. Ability to work as part of a team. Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Be flexible in days and hours. Manages workflow/time management effectively and in an organized and timely manner. Able to effectively handle multiple tasks. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Maintains a professional standard at Juniper Preserve including, but not limited to, appearance, interaction with members, associates, guests of the club, verbal discussions and written correspondence. Does not discuss work related issues with members and resort guests. Maintains positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager and Housekeeping Supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to read and understand written and oral instructions. Must be able to comprehend topics of a conceptual nature.
