CGI is seeking a Public Sector Lead for our Boston metro market of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. This leader will have external revenue responsibility and manage a team of 110+ CGI Partners.
Responsibilities for this position include strategy, business development, service delivery, client relationships & satisfaction, revenue growth, CGI Partner growth, and profitability. The leader will guide and grow their own state and local consulting business within this market with a strong focus on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This position is based in our Boston, MA and Burlington, MA offices and candidates must be based in this metro region. You will leverage relationships within the Massachusetts market and will be fully immersed in the community while also overseeing CGI's business with government clients across New England.
. Growth: Strategically lead account growth and strategy, account planning, and budget planning. Manage profitability of accounts and engagements within the Boston BU Public Sector.
. Business Development and Proposal Leadership: Drive business development by leading proposals and evolving solution offerings, with accountability for winning competitive proposals and improving service delivery quality.
. Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of professionals, including direct reports and US nearshore/offshore centers, fostering a culture of inspiration, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and strategic thinking.
. Client Satisfaction and Account Management: Manage client satisfaction in collaboration with your account management teams, leading account strategy, planning, and budget management to ensure profitability within the Boston BU Public Sector.
. Service Delivery Excellence: Ensure overall accountability for service delivery to clients, striving for continuous improvement in quality.
. 15+ years of IT and Consulting Services experience showing increased levels of leadership
. Extensive business development and strategy experience within organizations known for building high performing business development functions.
. Demonstrated history of winning large, competitive IT and Management consulting contracts.
. Proven performance owning a P&L
. Proven experience developing and managing high-performing teams.
. Ability to collaborate and build partnerships, influence at the highest levels, and provide business development leadership.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, inspiring confidence and leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
. Established relationships with key Commonwealth of Massachusetts political, business and technology leaders.
. Strong organization change management skills related to software development and operational delivery.
. Proven ability to work in a structured environment in a large professional services firm.
. Experience winning and growing work with government clients.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $220,000.00 - $415,000.00.
