We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Sales Manager to lead our Public Sector Internal Sales team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role is pivotal in driving sales activities, fostering team collaboration, and contributing to Lenovo’s success in the Public Sector. The role includes direct responsibility for staff performance, sales planning, and integration with external sales functions. Some international collaboration and remote engagement may be expected.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Internal Sales Representatives (ISRs), setting weekly and quarterly sales goals and providing performance coaching.
Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, manage KPIs and Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and oversee mid-year/full-year reviews and compensation cycles.
Support the Public Sector External Sales Manager in forecasting and reporting (D365), ensuring accuracy and visibility of pipeline data.
Collaborate with the external sales team on territory planning, pipeline building, and strategic account development.
Define and execute quarterly outbound call campaigns in partnership with marketing and interlock teams.
Coach ISRs on Lenovo tools (LBP, CRM, D365, Sales Navigator) and campaign execution, ensuring effective use and accurate feedback loops.
Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes, including oversight of student placements and graduate development (Eagle program).
Monitor ISR product knowledge, mandatory training, and development to improve individual and team sales capabilities.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 3 years of experience in internal sales, ideally in IT, hardware, or software sectors.
Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams in target-driven environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics (D365), Sales Navigator, and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organisational, analytical, and reporting skills, with a data-driven mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory).
Demonstrates a growth mindset, team leadership, and adaptability in a dynamic sales environment.
