focused assistance to the HHC Community including patients visitors families colleagues clinicians physicians and the first responder community among othersmiddot Patrols and rounds facility to identify concerning activity safety concerns or other problems May be assigned to fixed areas to check credentials provide information or directions When assigned to mobile patrols operates vehicles in a safe manner complying with all traffic and safety rulesProvides a timely response uses problem solving to take appropriate action to manage and investigate security incidents and hazardsmiddot Maintain current knowledge of instructions policies and procedures and performs work in accordance with these guidelinesmiddot Shares information with other Public Safety Officers maintains accurate activity logs and completes reports and documentationmiddot Partners with law enforcement and other first responders when circumstances warrantmiddot Informs supervisor or other leadership of unusual
